Fees for SAT Registration

If you are a student living in a place other than the United States, you will have to pay an additional enrollment fee depending on where you live, as the SAT applies the international registration costs of $55 along with the non-US regional tax.

How Much Does It Cost To Send SAT Scores?

When you register for the SAT, you can submit four score reports to universities for free; this is a quick and easy method to send your test results to universities and scholarship programs. Plus, it’s free until 11:59 p.m. EST nine days after you take the exam.

Other SAT Testing Fees You Should Be Aware Of

Unfortunately, many students may take the SAT without knowing fundamental SAT score reporting and mailing services. Some of the minor costs of SAT are listed below.

Policy on Refunds – SAT Test Cancellation Policy

Because the College Board does not guarantee full refunds on SAT test cancellations, regardless of how early you try to cancel your registration, it’s important to be certain about your SAT preparations). If you contact the College Board at least five days before the event, you may be eligible for a $10 refund.

Fees for Re-Testing

While many students take the SAT twice or thrice, the cost of SAT for each extra exam remains the same. You must pay the $55 Registration Fee and any extra fees for the services you requested.

Do Fee Waivers Affect the SAT Cost?

Fee exemptions allow you to take the SAT for free two times while still receiving additional bonuses.

The Verdict

How much you pay for the SAT test will be determined by various factors, including where you live (the United States or another country), your family’s financial situation, and how you want your score reports and results delivered. Contact your high school guidance counselor or career advisor to find out how much the SAT will cost for you. They should be able to assist you through the registration process.
