What are the GMAT Exam Fees You Need to Expect?
So you registered for your first GMAT exam, congratulations! You’re well on your way to being a top business school admit. Preparing for GMAT can seem overwhelming, but pacing yourself and following some of 700+ Club’s simple tips can make your studying experience a breeze.
The GMAT has a few random costs to keep in mind, keep reading to examine the different costs.
Location Dependent GMAT Exam Fees
Over 110 countries offer the GMAT exam, whether online or in-person. Reference the table below to figure out your country’s exam cost.
Is the GMAT the same price online as in-person?
The direct answer is yes! However, taking the exam online can save you a bit of cash when you are sending out score reports. The online GMAT exam allows you to send your score to an unlimited number of business schools for free; whereas, in-person you are charged $35 for a score report.
GMAT Cancellation Fee
Applicants are able to schedule their GMAT appointment up to 6 months in advance; however, if you need to cancel your exam for any given reason, you might be eligible for a refund.

Additional Costs
In addition to the GMAT cost, in-person testing can add a few more costs:
1. Enhanced Score Report (insert link to page about this and who should buy this) – $30
A score analysis indicating how much time you spent on questions, question difficulty, areas to improve, etc.

2. Additional Score Reports – $35 each
Physical copy of your score report if you are planning to mail them to universities or need one for personal use.
3. Cancel Score- $25
A fee to cancel your test results. If you select a list of business schools to receive your scores, this will void the results from being sent out.
4. Reinstate Score- $50
Reinstate fee to authorize mailing out previous cancelled GMAT scores to your list of business schools.
5. AWA Essay Regrade- $45
While it is true that the AWA score does not factor into your total GMAT score, some applicants may want another essay grader to revisit their Analytical Writing assignment for a possible rescore.
